LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR
We hope your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a nice break. We missed all our cheerleaders and are excited to be back! Now that we are in the middle of the holidays I wanted to give you a little overview of the rest of our season:
• DECEMBER: Three weeks of practices and classes, competitions for teams, closed for two weeks
• JANUARY: Four weeks of practices, final competitions for teams, family performances for some classes, last day of regular season is January 30th (last day for ALL classes and teams except Tiny Tots, Queens, Empire & Legacy)
• FEBRUARY: Travel teams go to Disney!
• FEBRUARY - MAY: Off season classes and teams. Not all classes and teams practice the entire season. Schedule coming soon.
• MAY: Tryouts for 2022-2023 Season
December & January (everyone), and February (travel teams): Every team practice is mandatory, urgent, and important.
THE DO-ERS HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE: CEC and The Do-ers Project are partnering together again to sponsor families this holiday season. Our goal is to gather items needed to complete 5 Christmas Dinner Boxes (these boxes are then delivered to a family in need of ingredients to cook themselves a nice Holiday Dinner). If you’re interested in providing food items, reach out to Courtni directly and she will assign you something to donate. If we are able to fully sponsor the last 7 families in need, the team with the most donations will receive a Pizza Party! To participate, contact: Courtni: 206.225.8018 - firstname.lastname@example.org
The Do-ers are a small but mighty group of friends who come together during the holidays to help out people in our local community who are struggling. This is our 7th year working together, and over these past 7 years we have had the opportunity to connect with over 300 families. Our group of "friends" has grown substantially from 30 of us, to 438 in the Snohomish, North and South King County areas, as well as 5 local businesses participating in our project.
PORTLAND TRIP THIS WEEKEND: All travel teams and travel staff will be out of town this weekend for our first in-person competition at the Portland Convention Center. We will still host Friday night and Saturday classes for athletes not traveling.

Our classes have been stepping back to assess our athletes progress and making plans to round out our year. Our flight class spend the practice before break setting goals for the last two months of classes, and our Wednesday Stunt class and Cheer 201 are working on a mini parent showcase for the end of January!
PORTLAD PARENT & SPECTATOR INFO
THIS EMAIL WAS SENT TO ALL TRAVEL FAMILIES ON 11/20 AND CONTAINS INFORMATION ABOUT OUR THIS WEEKEND'S TRIP. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THIS EMAIL.
Hello Cascade Families,
The American Northwest Championships in Portland is less than 2 weeks away! We are excited for our athletes to be able to perform in person for the first time in over a year. This email will contain information about our itinerary and specifics for those of you coming to Portland to watch the competition.
We will be traveling down to the competition on Friday 12/3. Please meet at the gym at 4 PM. The vans will be leaving no later than 4:15 PM. We are staying at the Doubletree Portland Hotel, 1000 NE Multnomah St, Portland, OR 97232.
The competition is at the Oregon Convention Center and teams will be competing Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning before we head home there will be a team bonding event. In order to keep all the athletes together and work on bonding as a whole, the team event will now take place at KingPins Beaverton. There will be bowling, lunch, arcade play and laser tag. If you are in Portland on Sunday and were hoping to join in the fun, please reply back to this email and let me know (if you have not already contacted me about it). The cost of the event is $35 for each person wanting to attend. We are aiming to leave Beaverton between 12:30 and 1:00 PM, hoping to be back to the gym around 5 PM to 5:30 PM. *we will update you about our return time when we are on the road home*
The competition will be held at the Oregon Convention Center MAX Station, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97232. Our teams are scheduled to perform between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM (this could change closer to the event date).
Covid protocols will be in place for this event, so it will look different than past events. Please read through these details carefully so you know what to expect when you arrive.
Concessions and Merchandise may be available at the competition venue based on final enrollment of the event. Please note transactions may be limited to credit card only.
SCHEDULE: Our regular season ends January 31st and we will be offering new classes and programs for the competition off-season February-May. If your kids are ready to try something new or want to invite friends to join, stay tuned for these updates!
TRAVEL: Make sure your account is caught up by December 15th so we can finish ticketing everything for Nationals!
EVENTS: Just a few events before our main season ends! Join us Dec 11 for our Holiday Party and in January for a Glow Night! Both events will be just $25. For more details see FORMS & LINKS.
LAST WEEK-LY: We have a few things coming home that need signatures. Please return them to the next practice. (1) Attendance Policy for travel teams, and Kingdom/Reign/Monarchs. (2) Travel Team competition waivers, (3) Local competition waivers coming out this week.
