LYNDEN TRAVEL APPROVAL - DUE 3/1
Our final performance of the season will be during a weekend trip where we will perform in the Lynden Farmer's Day Parade, bond with our team, and spend a day at the Birch Bay Waterslides! We would like all 32 athletes to travel together for this trip and celebrate our final performance together, however, due to the distance away, we will allow athletes to travel up for the performance only if the trip is cost prohibited.
Please select from one of the options below. We will not be booking options individually or booking travel for parents/guests.
Accommodations: We are looking at waterfront vacation rentals instead of a hotel for this trip. The athletes will likely bunk together in sleepover groups (sleeping on carpeted floors in sleeping bags), but they will have access to the beach, a game room, and possibly a pool/hot tub.
Birch Bay Waterslides: On Sunday, we will check out of the hotel/house and head to the waterpark for a day of fun and bonding. Tickets and meals are covered under the trip fee. If Birch Bay opens later in the year than expected, or we are hit with rain/poor weather, we will have a back up team bonding option planned.
Transportation: Rented passenger vans
Food: We will have at least one team dinner, and possible a few home cooked meals if we are able to land a vacation rental! All meals for the duration of the trip are covered.
Option A ($475): The athlete comes with the team and is supervised by chaperones. This fee covers supervision for the duration of the trip, two nights accommodations, transportation, food, and tickets to Birch Bay waterslides (or a back up team bonding event if the weather prohibits). This cost will be split into two equal payments due 3/10 and 4/10.
Option B ($0): The athlete will perform in the Lynden Day Parade, but will not be staying the weekend. Instead, we understand we are responsible for transporting out athlete to Lynden for the day. All Show Team accounts have already billed for the cost of the trip. If you select option B, these costs will be removed before the first due date of 3/10.
Chaperones: We will likely not need parent chaperones for this trip, as we will most likely have enough staff attending to chaperone the entire team. However, if you have concerns about your athlete traveling without you, due to their age or medical conditions, please state this in the questions/concerns box. There may be spots for additional chaperones depending on the final headcount.
