2021-2022 tryouts are june 1-5th!Carrie Anderson, Gym Director
Two weeks ago we opened early registration for the '21-'22 elite season, and next week we will extend registration to new participants as well. We encourage you to register EARLY as we will likely fill spots for all age groups, especially ages 5-10. We will take a maximum of 180 athletes, and we have around 170 currently enrolled in our programs. STEP 1: View Team/Placements/Tuition Info Take a look at our website and review the changes we are making this year to teams, how placements will work, and our current tuition/pricing/scholarships. TEAM INFO PLACEMENTS TUTION & SCHOLARSHIPS STEP 2: Register for Placements All athletes need to attend a placement session for our staff to assess their skills and place them on a team. We have multiple options depending on the age and ability of your athlete. Register your athlete for placements <HERE> This also holds their spot ($50 annual registration fee applies) STEP 3: Submit Requests & Scholarship Application If you have any specific team requests you'd like us to accommodate, or you'd like to apply for our scholarships, fill out those forms before tryouts <HERE> and <HERE>. STEP 4: Register for Your Teams/Classes After tryouts, we will send you a placement card which state the team your athlete made plus classes we recommend for them. We have quite a few new class times to work with your schedule, and have cut class prices in half. Once you decide which team(s)/classes work with your schedule, you will register your athlete on GoMotion! |
Mini Majesties hit ZERO! We are so excited to announce that Mini Majesties hit ZERO for their first competition! This means they didn't make any major mistakes or have stunts fall or bobble or any tumbling touch downs. Nice work ladies! We are excited to see the rest of your routine at Battle at the Castle!

2021-2022 TRAVEL TEAMSI've received quite a few questions about our travel teams, so I wanted to send out some additional details. This info is also great for current travel families:
WHAT TEAMS ARE TRAVEL TEAMS? We have decided to make a change this year and instead of giving the old team name to one of our travel teams, we have decided that BOTH our travel teams will have new names. Introducing EMPIRE and LEGACY! Empire will be our Junior team ages 8-14 and Legacy will be our senior team, age 12-18. They will both compete in level 2.1 and travel to Disneyland/World for Nationals. IS MY CHILD READY FOR A TRAVEL TEAM? All athletes ages 8-18 are invited to join one of our two travel teams. We will make sure we place them in the appropriate spot that is both in within their ability and that challenges them! If they are at least 8, we have a place for your athlete regardless of their experience and current ability. WHICH TEAM WILL MY CHILD BE ON? Athletes ages 8-11 will be on the Empire and athletes aged 15+ will be on the Legacy. During placements, we will assess all the athletes together to see where best to place athletes age 12-14. If you have a preference, you can submit a request after you register for placements. WHAT IS THE COST TO BE ON A TRAVEL TEAM? Regular tuition and uniform costs apply to all travel teams, plus an account management fee of $200, competition costs of $550, and the trip fee of $2280. This includes sending the athlete with the team and staff/chaperones. There are other options for travel if you'd rather attend with the athlete. <DETAILS> DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE ABLE TO TUMBLE? All our travel teams are level 1 tumble teams, so they must be able to compete level 1 tumbling skills, take our offered optional tumbling classes, or be willing to work on their tumbling at home. We will give them drills during practices they can do during practice and at home the first half of the season to help them build these skills. IS NATIONALS IN DISNEYLAND OR DISNEYWORLD? We have not yet decided if we will attend USA Jr. Spirit Nationals in Anaheim, CA or Varsity’s The Quest in Orlando, FL. We are leaning towards a Florida trip for 2022, but will need to be confident in the state’s handling of the pandemic before we begin to book travel. HOW DO I SIGN UP? 1) If you are ready to register your athlete, make sure you read the following pages on our website: <TEAM INFO>, <PLACEMENTS>, <TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS> 2) Once you are ready to sign up, register your athlete for tryouts <HERE> 3) Lastly, complete the <REQUEST> form and indicate you'd like your athlete to be placed on a travel team. If you are uncertain, say so on the form and I will check in as we get closer! |
