NATIONALS TRAVEL OPTIONS
Option A: Athlete travels with coaches/staff/chaperones. All expenses and supervision covered by $2280 Nationals travel fee. Coaches/staff are responsible for supervision of the athlete. All CEC staff are background checked and all non-staff traveling as chaperones will be background checked as well. It’s unlikely we will need non-staff members to volunteer to chaperone, but we will decide on chaperones in the fall.
Option A+: Same as above, PLUS the athlete’s family travels alongside the team. Parents/family members can follow the team’s itinerary OR attend their own events. The athlete is required to stay with the team for all events (some exceptions allowed). Cost is $1590 per person for all expenses listed above ($2280 for the athlete). May choose travel via an all-a-carte system or book own travel entirely (some restrictions apply).
Option B: Athlete travels with family. Reservations must be made either through CEC or separately with proof of travel booked (hotel and airfare) by December 1st, 2021. Must stay on-site (Hilton Anaheim) for the same number of nights as the team, and follow the same general itinerary as the team for the 4-day trip (there are some opportunities for families to break off, but keep in mind: this is a team trip, not a family vacation). Coaches/staff are generally unable to supervise athletes during the trip (choosing this option, you assume responsibility for your child for the entirety of the trip), with the exception of competition day. Fee with this option is $1590 per person ($1590 for the athlete as well). May choose travel options via an all-a-carte system or book own travel entirely. Not eligible for athletes 12+ (message Carrie for exceptions).

This is where you select which travel options you will be booking through us, and which you will book on your own. If you are booking all your travel through CEC, provide the names and DOB for all travelers and then select each item. If you are booking some of your own travel separately (staying at another hotel, using airline miles, etc.) then DO NOT SELECT the items you plan to book separately.
Athletes traveling using option A are required to book everything through us. Athletes using A+ are required to book everything through us, with the exception of airfare. Athletes traveling using option B are required to stay at the same hotel for the same number of nights as the team, but travel can be booked directly through the hotel (Hilton Anaheim). Changes to this form can be made up to October 1st, 2021.
IMPORTANT HOTEL COST NOTE: The cost of the hotel is $280 per person for 4 nights, based on a team average of quad occupancy (4 to a room). You may have less than 4 people in your room, but could be charged an extra $280 for 3 people, $560 for two people, etc. We will know these final numbers after all forms are turned in. If a parent and athlete are traveling together, you can be paired with another parent/athlete to avoid additional charges. I will message you if there is another pairing wanting to share a room.
