football Cheer

We are very excited to bring back our sideline program! After two years, we are finally able to cheer for our community sports again. Our football cheerleaders perform cheers, chants, band dances and stunts at Cascade Jr. Football games. Coaches will focus on motions, voice projection, rallying, jumps, and sideline stunts. Football cheer is great for athletes new to cheerleading or looking for a shorter commitment than competition. Sideline athletes are also able to enrich their learning with an add-on class like stunt or tumbling!
There is no tryout required for our sideline teams.  Just sign up on our ​parent registration portal! This year, athletes may choose to participate on BOTH a sideline and a competition team if they choose, as performances will happen on alternate weekends. Placement on a competition team requires a tryout.

UNIFORM & MEMBERSHIP

​​UNIFORM ($195)*: Top, shorts, skirt or pants, sweatshirt, cheer shoes, crew socks, bow, and poms. Due 8/1.

YEARLY MEMBERSHIP FEE ($50): Due at registration

GAMES

Games are typically every other Saturday morning or afternoon. Football games begin the end of August and playoffs are in early November. First half of schedule is released mid August, second half early October.

Monarchs: game day (high school prep)

​This team learns sideline cheers, stunts, and band dances, and puts them together in half-time routine they perform at one volleyball or baseball game, one basketball game, and one competition!  Both sideline and competition cheerleaders can join Monarchs as their second team (crossover rate or $45), but this is also a great option or those wanting to eventually tryout for their high school cheer team. No tryout required, just register online! Must participate over both the fall & winter cheer seasons.

Because this is a competition team, a competition uniform is required ($295). Athletes on a sideline team and Monarchs will require both uniforms. Athletes on Monarchs only or on a competition team crossing to Monarchs will only require the competition uniform.
